AKIA SWING wheel-drive kit for smooth, stress-free operation on low enclosures (3 or 4 modules).
The AKIA SWING wheel-drive kit for swimming pool enclosures is suitable for low and light structures that can be easily moved by hand without any special effort.
It consists of two twin modules and one 10 W solar panel. Each module includes one motor and one wheel. The control unit and batteries are installed on one of the modules.

With the AKIA BI-TWIN wheel-drive kit for swimming pool enclosures, you can automate swimming pool enclosures or structures (such as pool decks) that are heavy and/or difficult to move manually.
The kit consists of two twin modules and one 30 W solar panel. Each module includes two motors and two wheels and is equipped with its own control unit and batteries. The radio receiver is located on one of the modules and controls both modules simultaneously.
Power: 2 hp – 336 W batteries.

The AKIA System safety system offers two key benefits:
- The motor drive is exclusively controlled by the holders of the start-up key.
- Energy consumption is neutralised, and the batteries are kept fully charged through continuous solar panel charging.
Although AKIA System swimming pool enclosure motor drives have no locking mechanism, they prevent any manual movement and therefore eliminate any risk of unwanted opening.
When the enclosure acts as the legal safety barrier preventing access to the pool, it must be easy to close when users leave the area. A reliable, always-available motor drive ensures safety and peace of mind for users.
In the event of force majeure or a system failure, the wheels can be kept in the raised position to neutralise their resistance and allow manual movement of the structure
Regulations for swimming pool enclosure motor drives

Pursuant to Machinery Directives 98/37/EC and 2006/42/EC, swimming pool enclosure motor drives must be operated by a limited number of trained and authorised users.

In private areas, the motor drive may be controlled via a radio transmitter with a push-button that must be held down for the entire duration of the operation, requiring the continuous presence of the authorised user in close proximity to and within sight of the equipment.
- In public areas, the motor drive must be controlled using a key switch located close to and within sight of the equipment, and held in the activated position by an authorised user for the entire duration of the operation. These motor drives are not permitted for use by the general public.
One turn of the key activates a time delay which enables the motor drive to start within 8 to 10 minutes. A further turn of the key is required to re-enable motor drive control.
